Standard Layout

From reading on the Forum, various websites and from looking at the comics on the shelf it would appear that a comic is 20-25 pages, a graphic novel (what I would call a comic BOOK) has like 4-5 chapters of this sort of length in it and each page has a maximium of 9 panels.

There are things called splash pages which are the fall page pictures and there are names for the other panels types etc…

I have decided that I don’t want the actual panels/frames overlapping or bleeding into each other too much unless its for stylistic reasons that I feel moves on the story itself.
